| Once you have settled into your new home base, you'll want to enjoy some of the park's activities. Becs Store and RV Park provides a quiet atmosphere among plenty of natural, open spaces, ideal for outdoor games, picnics, or just relaxing and pondering. Many native bird species and local wildlife visit the park, so birding and wildlife viewing are excellent ways to spend a morning or afternoon. The park is in close proximity to the Frio River, allowing opportunities for all kinds of water recreation. The water flows cool and clean from underground springs and is well-suited for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Or, if you'd rather stay dry, take
a stroll along the banks; the sheer beauty of the river and changing colors of the seasons make the Frio River a unique place to visit. |
